The QuickLink-Pen Elite delivers a range of new innovative features for students researchers teachers doctors or business people needing to be able to take notes quickly and easily including: Reads scanned notes aloud Beams stored notes and business cards to Smartphones PDAs PCs and Laptops Easy access to English dictionary definitions of words in the notes USB connection to PC and Laptop for fast and efficient synchronization Used just like a yellow highlighter the QuickLink-Pen Elite allows the user to collect electronically notes from any printed text anytime anywhere The QuickLink-Pen Elite comes preloaded with the following applications: Scan and Store Scan and Store up to 1000 pages of text in English (Additional scanning languages - German Swedish Portuguese Spanish Italian and French are supplied on CD ROM for optional installation) Transfer stored text to PDAs Smartphones and Laptops via IrDA Transfer stored notes to PCs via USB connection (and automatically create MS Word documents) Read aloud the scanned notes using the text to speech function either through the built-in speaker or headphones Scan and Define Display the definition of any word in the notes using the included American Heritage Concise Dictionary Scan to PC * Allow real time scanning directly via the USB connection into any Windows based application with the scanned text appearing at the cursor point Image Capture * Scan and store small images that can then be transferred to a PC at a later time The following applications are supplied on CD Rom for optional installation: Address Book Scan business cards and synchronize with a desktop or PDA address book such as Outlook
